As a cat owner, it can be heartbreaking to discover that your beloved pet may have a dead kitten inside her. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence in feline pregnancies, and it’s essential to know the signs so you can seek veterinary attention as soon as possible. In this article, we’ll discuss the signs that your cat may have a dead kitten inside and what to do if you suspect this may be the case.

Understanding Feline Pregnancy

Before diving into the Symptoms of Dead Kitten inside Cat, it’s crucial to understand feline pregnancy. A cat’s gestation period typically lasts around 63 to 65 days, and during this time, the cat’s body undergoes significant changes. As the kittens grow, the cat’s abdomen will become noticeably larger, and she may experience morning sickness or increased appetite.

Cats typically give birth to litters of 2-6 kittens, although larger litters are possible. Kittens are typically born headfirst, and the entire process can take several hours. If your cat is pregnant, it’s essential to provide her with proper nutrition and prenatal care to ensure the health of both her and her offspring.

Signs of a Dead Kitten inside Your Cat

While it’s heartbreaking to think about, it’s not uncommon for a cat to have a dead kitten inside her during pregnancy. Some of the most common signs that your cat may have a dead kitten inside include:

Lethargy and Depression

If your cat seems unusually lethargic or depressed, it could be a sign that she has a dead kitten inside her. This may be due to the hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy or the physical strain of carrying a deceased kitten.

Lack of Appetite

A cat’s appetite may fluctuate during pregnancy, but if she suddenly loses interest in food altogether, it could be a sign that something is wrong. A cat carrying a dead kitten may feel full or uncomfortable and may not want to eat.

Unusual Behavior

If your cat is acting unusually, such as hiding or refusing to be touched, it could be a sign that she’s in distress. She may be experiencing physical discomfort due to the dead kitten, or she may be experiencing emotional distress due to the loss of one of her offspring.

Swollen Abdomen

If your cat’s abdomen appears swollen or distended, it could be a sign that she has a dead kitten inside. This can occur due to the build-up of fluids or gases in the abdomen.

Discharge

If your cat is pregnant and you notice any unusual discharge, it’s essential to seek veterinary attention immediately. Discharge can be a sign of infection or other complications, including a dead kitten inside.

Lack of Fetal Movement

If your cat is far enough along in her pregnancy that you can feel the kittens moving, but you notice a sudden decrease in fetal movement, it could be a sign that one of the kittens has died. This can occur due to a variety of factors, including a lack of oxygen or nutrients.

What to Do if You Suspect Your Cat Has a Dead Kitten Inside

If you suspect that your cat has a dead kitten inside, it’s essential to seek veterinary attention as soon as possible. Your vet will be able to perform an ultrasound or x-ray to determine if there is a deceased kitten and what the best course of action is.

In some cases, a cat may be able to deliver the deceased kitten naturally. However, in other cases, surgical intervention may be necessary. Your vet will be able to advise you on the best course of action based on your cat’s individual circumstances. It’s important to note that if your cat has a dead kitten inside her, there is an increased risk of infection and other complications.

Conclusion

It’s important to note that not all pregnancies are successful, and sometimes, kittens do not survive. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as genetic abnormalities, infections, or other health issues. When this occurs, the body will usually reabsorb the dead fetus, and the mother will pass it out of her body during labor. However, in some cases, the dead kitten may become stuck inside the mother, causing a potentially life-threatening situation.

]]>
Buying Instagram likes is a popular way to increase engagement on your page and make more visible to potential buyers. But what are the benefits of doing so? In this blog post, we will explore the different benefits of buying Instagram likes and explain why they’re such a valuable tool for marketers. By understanding the reasons behind buying likes, you can make an informed decision about whether or not this is the right strategy for your business.

What are the benefits of buying Instagram likes?

Instagram is a social media platform with over 1 billion active users. It’s a great way to share photos and videos with friends and followers, and it can help your business grow. Here are the benefits of buying Instagram likes:

1. Increased Engagement: When you buy Instagram likes, you increase your chances of getting more engagement from your followers. engagement on Instagram means views, likes, comments and shares – all of which are positive indicators of how interested people are in what you’re doing. Higher engagement leads to more organic traffic, which can help your business grow.

2. More Followers: The more followers you have on Instagram, the more people will see your posts and the greater potential there is for them to engage with your content. Buying Likes helps you build a following quickly and easily, which can help your brand reach new customers and attract attention from influential figures within the industry.

3. More Exposure: When people follow people they trust on social media platforms like Instagram, it can lead to increased exposure for your product or service – whether that’s due to increased brand awareness or simply better visibility on specific topics or geographic areas. Buying Likes boosts exposure for your account by amplifying the reach of your posts so that even more people see them.

4. More Engagement: When someone follows or “likes” a post from an account they trust, it signals to their network that this post is worth checking out.

How to buy Instagram likes?

There are many benefits to buying Instagram likes, including increasing your followers, boosting your social media presence, and improving your credibility. Purchasing likes is a quick and easy way to improve your visibility and popularity on the platform.

When you buy authentic Instagram likes, you’re providing a service that helps other users see your posts more prominently. This can help you attract new followers who may also be interested in what you have to say. Additionally, buying likes attracts attention from potential advertisers and partners who may want to work with a popular account with a large following.

If you’re starting out on Instagram, buying Likes can give you an instant advantage over your competitors by giving them less exposure and followers. If you already have a sizable following, then buying Likes will only help to further grow your organic reach and engagement rates.

The different types of Instagram likes

Instagram likes are one of the most important tools that business owners can use in order to boost their Instagram following. In this article, we will discuss the different types of Instagram likes, and explain why businesses should invest in them.

There are three main types of Instagram likes: organic, paid, and InstaBoosts.

Organic likes come from real people who like your photos naturally – without you paying for them. They’re important because they help show potential followers that your account is popular and engaging.

Paid likes are a more efficient way to increase your follower count quickly. They allow you to buy followers directly from an approved vendor, which ensures high-quality followers who will be more likely to engage with your content.

InstaBoosts are a third type of like that businesses can purchase in order to get a brief boost in their follower count. These boosts usually last for 24 hours, but can occasionally last longer depending on the specific package purchased.

What to do if you run out of Instagram likes

If you find yourself running low on Instagram likes, there are a few things you can do to replenish your supply. First and foremost, be sure to post high-quality content that your followers will enjoy. Quality content will attract more likes than spammy posts, and it will also help you build a loyal following of followers who value what you have to say.

Another way to get more Likes on your photos is to buy them. There are several services available that allow you to buy Likes for your Instagram photos. However, be aware that buying Likes may have negative consequences for your account. Buying Likes may lead people to believe that your account is spammy or illegitimate, which could damage your reputation and cause followers to withdraw their support.Ultimately, the decision whether or not to buy Likes should be made based on the overall quality of your content and the sincerity of your follower base.

]]>
Geopathic stress is a type of stress that is caused by the Earth’s natural electromagnetic field. It is also said to be caused by telluric currents, which are naturally occurring underground watercourses. There are many who believe that geopathic stress can have an adverse effect on our health, and some even say that it can affect animals in a negative way. In this blog post, we will be exploring the connection between geopathic stress and animals. We will look at what geopathic stress is, how it is said to affect animals, and whether or not there is any scientific evidence to support these claims.

What is geopathic stress?

Geopathic stress is a type of environmental stress that is created by the Earth’s natural electromagnetic fields. It is believed that this type of stress can have negative effects on the health of animals, as well as humans. There are a number of different theories about how geopathic stress affects health, but the most commonly accepted theory is that it disrupts the body’s natural electrical system. This can lead to a variety of health problems, including anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Additionally, some research has suggested that geopathic stress animals may be linked to cancer.

There is no definitive proof that geopathic stress is harmful to health, but some experts believe that it may be a contributing factor to a variety of health problems. If you are concerned about geopathic stress, there are a number of things you can do to minimise your exposure to it. For example, you can avoid sleeping in areas where there is known geopathic stress, or you can use special devices that are designed to reduce the effects of geopathic stress.

What are the symptoms of geopathic stress?

There are a number of symptoms that have been associated with geopathic stress, including insomnia, anxiety, depression, irritability, and fatigue. Some people also report feeling a sense of unease or foreboding when in an area of high geopathic stress. Animals may also exhibit signs of distress when in an area of geopathic stress, such as restlessness, panting, and pacing.

What are the effects of geopathic stress?

The effects of geopathic stress are not fully understood, but it is thought that it can contribute to a number of health problems. These problems may include insomnia, anxiety, depression, irritability, fatigue, and a sense of unease or foreboding. Animals may also exhibit signs of distress when in an area of geopathic stress, such as restlessness, panting, and pacing.

How does geopathic stress affect animals?

There are a few ways that geopathic stress can affect animals. One way is that the animal may avoid the area altogether. This is because the animal is picking up on the negative energy and doesn’t want to be in that space. Another way that geopathic stress can affect animals is by making them more anxious or stressed in general. This is because the negative energy can impact their mood and make them feel uneasy. Finally, geopathic stress can also lead to physical health problems for animals. This is because the negative energy can disrupt their natural energy field and cause imbalances in their body.

What are the consequences of geopathic stress?

There is some evidence to suggest that exposure to geopathic stress can lead to a number of health problems, including cancer, infertility, and miscarriages. Additionally, geopathic stress has been linked to a variety of psychological disorders, such as anxiety and depression.

How can you protect your animals from geopathic stress?

There are a few things you can do to protect your animals from geopathic stress animals. One is to have them sleep in a different room from where the highest EMF readings are in your home. Another is to create a buffer zone between your animals and any electrical appliances or cords by using furniture or rugs. Finally, you can try using natural remedies such as crystal bowls or smudging with sage to clear the energy in your home.

What is the difference between EMF and RF radiation?

EMF radiation is a type of low frequency radiation that is emitted from electrical appliances and cords. RF radiation is a type of high frequency radiation that is emitted from cell phones, WiFi routers, and other wireless devices.

Conclusion

There is still much research to be done on the connection between geopathic stress and animals, but there are some compelling theories out there. If you believe that your animal may be suffering from geopathic stress, there are steps you can take to help them. By using dowsing rods or a pendulum, you can find areas of high stress in your home or property and take measures to protect your animal from them. You can also try using crystals or essences to neutralise the stress energy. With a little bit of effort, you can create a safe haven for your beloved pet.

The post 10 Tips to Keep your Older Cat Healthy appeared first on I AM PET.

]]>
As cats get older, they may experience several health changes. These can be caused by age or other factors, so it’s important to monitor them closely and work with your veterinarian if necessary. Here are some tips and best advice for keeping your older cat happy and healthy:

1. Don’t forget vet check-ups

One of the most important things you can do is to make sure your cat gets regular checkups with his vet. This will help ensure that he’s getting all of the shots and tests he needs and any other medical care required by his age. If a behavior change is detected, it may be time for an appointment with your vet. Below are some changes to watch out for as your cat gets older:

 • Vomiting or not eating
 • Becoming lethargic or unable to get up without assistance
 • Difficulty breathing

2. Check for parasites

 • Check for parasites. Parasites can cause illness in older cats, often picked up from the environment or transmitted to humans. Check your cat’s ears, paws, and skin for signs of an infestation. Look for redness or swelling around the eyes or nose and scabs on their bodies. Hair loss on a specific area (like one side of their tail), lumpy patches that don’t get better with treatment, and scratching at his gums when he yawns.
 • Treat parasites with medication: There are many types of medications available for treating parasites: some are topical creams that need to be applied directly onto affected areas every day (like flea collars), while others contain antifungal agents that need only be taken once per month (such as heartworm pills).

3. Check for intestinal issues

 • Check for diarrhea and vomiting. If your cat is throwing up or having diarrhea, it could be an indication that something is not right with her digestive system. In this case, you should take her to a vet as soon as possible.
 • Check weight loss. Older cats often lose weight because they don’t eat much anymore (and cats usually don’t like sharing their food with others). Keep an eye on how much he eats each day; if he seems thinner than usual, speak to your veterinarian about what could be causing the problem—if nothing obvious stands out, there may be some underlying medical condition causing the change in appetite or activity level that needs addressing professionally.

To help keep your senior cat stay at a healthy weight, Balanced Breed all-natural multivitamins will be a great asset to their diet. Additionally, Balanced Breed helps with joint pain, digestion issues, immune system problems, and more, making it the leading cat vitamin on the market.

4. Ensure your cat is well-hydrated

Cats need a lot of water and can become dehydrated quickly. To prevent dehydration, ensure they have access to clean water at all times. If you’re unsure whether or not your cat has access to enough water, look out for signs like loss of appetite and lethargy.

5. Make dental care a priority

Your cat’s teeth reflect the quality of the food they eat, so it’s important to feed them high-quality food.

Dental problems can be serious in cats and may lead to infections or abscesses. Regular brushing will help prevent these problems, but it also helps remove plaque buildup that causes gingivitis ( inflammation of the gums) and periodontal disease (infection around your cat’s teeth).

If you have more than one pet, make sure each has its own brush, so you don’t mix up their brushes between pets!

6. Monitor changes in urine and stool.

Monitor your cat’s urine and stool changes by examining the following:

 • Change in color or consistency
 • Changes in frequency
 • Smell, volume, and location of deposits

Changes in appearance include: quantity (number of times per day) compared to normal for that cat; if it’s fewer than usual, this could be an indicator of disease.

7. Watch for skin lumps or bumps

If you suspect your cat has a skin lump or bump, it’s important to check for any other symptoms. You may notice your pet scratching at its skin and looking for attention. Your cat could also have trouble walking or sitting normally, as well as difficulty moving around their house or yard.

If you find a lump on your cat’s body, contact their veterinarian immediately so that they can examine them properly and determine the best course of action to take in treating this condition. If left untreated, a mass could become infected with bacteria like Staphylococcus Aureus (Staph), which can cause serious illness in humans if contracted through direct contact with an infected area on an animal’s body, such as its paws.

8. Pay attention to your cat’s weight

Cats are extremely unpredictable pets, and it can be difficult to gauge their weight. One day your cat might eat less than usual, and the next day, it will scarf down everything in sight. This can be disconcerting if you aren’t careful—you may think that your cat is overweight when really it’s just a case of him feeling hungry (or vice versa). To prevent this from happening, weigh him once per month using an accurate scale.

If his body mass index (BMI) is over 20 pounds per inch squared (lbs/in^2), consider reducing his daily caloric intake by 50 percent; if it’s under 20 lbs /in^2 calories burned daily based on his activity level; increase them by 200%.

9. Be aware of mobility issues.

Cats’ joints can start to ache as they age, and some cats develop arthritis. If your cat is having trouble getting around, you should see a vet for an evaluation. There are treatments available for arthritis—and it’s important that these problems are diagnosed early on so that they can be treated effectively before they become more serious.

You should look for a supplement that contains vitamins and minerals like calcium and magnesium, as well as probiotics. These are good additions to most canned foods or dry diets since these ingredients help keep your cat’s digestive system healthy by reducing inflammation in its GI tract (gastrointestinal tract).

Senior cats have particular needs

 • Seniors may need more calories than kittens, as their metabolism slows down and they’re less active. Make sure you provide your cat with a healthy diet of canned food or dry kibble (not raw), which is lower in fat and higher in protein compared to other types of food. If you feed your cat dry food exclusively, consider adding some wet treats such as yogurt or canned salmon to help keep him satisfied while he’s eating his normal mealtime bowl of kibble at night time.
 • Your older cat could be suffering from a sensitive stomach if he doesn’t like certain types of food or if he gets diarrhea after eating something new on occasion. Try introducing new brands into his daily diet gradually so that there aren’t any unpleasant side effects for either one of you! Also note: If any signs indicate health problems related directly back to gastrointestinal system issues, then consult your vet immediately so they can get started assessing exactly what might be causing the issues.

10. Consider giving your senior cat a daily supplement.

Your senior cat needs more than just a good bowl of food. Supplements such as the brand Balanced Breed give them the nutrients they need that their food may not have enough of. Balanced Breed is the #1 all-natural cat vitamin that will help transform your senior cat’s health. They have all the right nutrients, such as Lysine, Krill Oil, and B12, to help your senior cat feel their best as they continue to age. The post How To Settle On The Right Cat Scratching appeared first on I AM PET.

]]>
Buying a scratching post for your furry feline may seem like it won’t be a big deal. You can quickly select a style online based on a few reviews, but your cat may need more convincing. Picking out the perfect scratching post for your cat should involve some research as you want to ensure your cat will enjoy it. The Refined Feline has compiled a few tips and tricks on how to choose the right cat scratching post.

Horizontal Or Vertical?

One important factor is positioning- the angle of the scratching post can be a big tipping point for many cats. Cats may love a more vertically shaped post versus a horizontal, or vice versa. Horizontal scratchers are usually flat, cardboard-based forms that come in different sizes and shapes. Your cat may need a horizontal scratcher if you see them scratching on the rug or other flat surfaces.

Vertical scratchers typically have a heavy or wooden base, with a tall post attached. The length of the vertical post can vary, as well as the material. Some vertical posts are under a foot tall, while others can be multiple feet tall, maybe even taller than you! Some scratchers are even designed to hang off of doorknobs! We all know how much cats love to bend, and having a vertical scratching post tall enough that they can fully stretch onto is ideal.

And to give your cat choices, it’s best to purchase at least one of each style, no matter your household. Your cat may end up preferring one over the other, but this allows them the best of both worlds!

Covering & Material

A typical scratching post will come in coverings such as carpet, sisal, or cardboard. Carpet is highly durable and surrounds the post well, but may also be covering the scratching surface itself. This may cause confusion to your cat, and you may want to avoid carpet posts overall. Your pet is allowed to scratch on a carpeted post all day long. But when they go to scratch any other carpet in your home they get deterred or shooed away. If you keep the actual materials separate you can help your cat differentiate and avoid confusion down the road.

Sisal is typically the most used scratching surface as it will last for years against those kitty nails. It’s a strong and rough surface that without much coaxing, cats will usually gravitate towards on their own. There are different types of sisal used for large cat trees and posts- sisal rope and sisal fabric. Sisal rope is wrapped around a cat post from the bottom to the top, as one long length of sisal. What usually happens though is this rope will start to loosen over time, and a cat’s claws may get stuck in-between the individual ropes. If your cat consistently gets caught in the sisal, they may be less inclined to use it. Sisal fabric covers the entire post, eliminating the potential for nail snags, and is a little less rough.

Cardboard is a favorable scratching surface for cats, although it may end up being less durable than other types. It can crumble fairly easily over time and use, leaving you a mess and your cat without a proper scratcher. Some shapes or brands may have more layers and thus be a little more sturdy, depending on what style you buy. You don’t have to stick with these types of surfaces, either, as there’s also bamboo, seagrass, rattan, and more available. It may also make sense to purchase a couple material types for the scratching posts to give your cat options.

The Sturdy Meter

A huge reason your cat may not use a scratching post depends heavily on the sturdiness of the post itself. Make sure to decrease the potential of it falling over by finding a base that is extra wide and weighted. Cats will jump onto or off of scratching posts with a lot of force, causing them to wobble if they aren’t sturdy. And if a scratching post does fall over while your cat is using it, they very likely will not use it again. If you’re looking for a multi-purpose post that’s ultra sturdy, check out The Refined Feline’s A-Frame Cat Bed. It’s got an area for your cat to sleep, an entire side of sisal for scratching, and you can place items on top!

You can sometimes extend a scratching post’s life by putting it in different rooms of your house every few months or years. Cats may not realize it’s the same and think they got a new post every time! Sometimes certain models of scratching posts come hardly weighted at all, meaning it may not stay stable very easily. While doing your research on different models, ensure they are weighted well enough to support your cat. This may mean paying more in the long run, but your cat will definitely use it and thank you!

Cleanliness

With the purchase of a long-lasting scratching post comes the necessity for maintaining its cleanliness. Purchasing a carpeted scratching post will be more difficult keeping it clean and stain free. Much easier surfaces to clean than carpet or cardboard are wooden bases and thinner materials like sisal. On a daily basis, old nails, hair, dust, dirt, and of course vomit may end up on the scratching post. There could be piles of cardboard or sisal bits around the base if your cat uses it a lot, which can be a pain to clean. Be sure to check on the post often to maintain its cleanliness, and your cat will continue using it day after day. You can even purchase a style that is attached to the wall to help keep your home more streamlined and cleaner.

Aesthetics

Just because it’s furniture for your cat doesn’t mean it can’t also be stunning! There are over a hundred designs and types of scratching posts available today. Some varieties are whimsical and sassy in their shape or style. Other brands or types are so lovely you wouldn’t even recognize it as a cat scratcher. The Calypso Everlasting Cat Scratcher is a great example of beauty and functionality in a cat scratcher. If you’re looking for something that will easily blend into your home, there are many designs available.

Didn’t think shopping for a scratching post would be this hard, right? But doing the proper amount of research and picking the correct scratching post is the best decision. Finding one that fits both your home’s décor and your cat’s energy levels will save you more in the long run. With proper maintenance, your cat can use the scratching post for years, so picking the right kind will keep you and your feline happy.
